Vegetable Karahi


Masala TV recipe of Vegetable Karahi by Zubaida Tariq from Handi . This mouth-watering "Main Course" recipe for Vegetable Karahi can be prepared in 30 minutes and serves 2-4 people.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Potatoes2
  • Chopped Carrots2
  • Chopped Capsicum2
  • Lemons  4
  • Tomatoes4
  • Green chilies8
  • Peas8
  • Oil1 cup
  • Chopped green coriander1 bunch
  • Fenugreek leaves2 bunches
  • Cauliflower1
  • Crushed black pepper1ts
  • Roasted and crushed cumin1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste1 tbsp
  • Red chili powder1 tbsp
  • Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
  • Mustard powder1 tbsp
  • Butter  1 tbsp
  • Chopped ginger 2 tbsp
  • Saltto taste

Recipe Method

  1. Take tomatoes in the wok and add in red chili powder, 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste and some salt. Cook it till the water dries. Add some oil in the frying pan and add in 2 sliced potatoes. Fry them. Then add in 1 small cauliflower, similarly add in 2 chopped capsicum and 2 chopped carrots. When the water of the tomatoes dry, add in the fried vegetables, fenugreek leaves, crushed cumin, 1 tbsp coriander seeds,
